Five Fall Favs
Fall is upon us, which means cooler weather and everything pumpkin. Let’s look at five fall favorite activities to take advantage of the season.
1. The Little Green Wagon Pumpkin Patch & Farm
Located just a couple of miles north of Mankato, The Little Green Wagon will teach you all there is to know about homesteading and living sustainably. Specifically in the fall, you can visit the pumpkin patch, play area and farm stand.
2. Autumn Acres Farm
Autumn Acres Farm will be opening for the season September 9, 2023. From wagon rides, to pick-your-own pumpkins, to a variety of kids’ activities, your family is bound to have a great fall day at the pumpkin patch.
3. Pumpkin Junction
Pumpkin Junction at Blue Skye Farms opens September 16, 2023 and they have a long list of fall favs. Wanting to see some farm animals? Throw your kids in a corn pit to tire them out for a nap? Find the perfect garden fresh product at the farmer’s market? Pumpkin Junction has you covered!
4. Bethany Fall Festival: A Homecoming Weekend
Bethany Lutheran College will be hosting a fall festival September 15-17, 2023 for all ages, including alumni reunions! Three days full of activities including the BLC Viking 5K, the Bethany book and craft fair, and live music and entertainment.
5. Fall Festival & Shopping Extravaganza
Last, but certainly not least, the Blue Earth County Fair Association is sponsoring the fall festival and shopping extravaganza in Garden City, MN on September 16, 2023. Vendors, crafts, obstacle course and more! You’re sure to have a fun fall family Saturday.
